Unaswered Prayers

Ps 66:18-20 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; 19 but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. 20 Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! (NIV)

Watch carefully what David is saying. "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened". In the next two versee David is rejoicing because the Lord heard his prayer.

If your prayer life is hendered, ask the Lord to check your heart for unconfessed sin. Many people are not getting their prayers answered due to sin. Sin is more than stealing, killing committing adultery worshipping idols or anyone of the big ten, it could be bitterness to someone or unforgiveness.
